The Homer was originally an MOD building! My grandfather bought it after the war and it remained in the family for years until renovated by my parents as a holiday home!

From its elevated position, The Homer commands a super view of the district of Kilmuir, the Trotternish hills and across the Minch to the Outer Hebrides.

Like Buaile nan Carn, The Homer accommodates four, but is also ideal for couples.  The lounge and dining area is combined and includes four large windows which look out towards the Outer Hebrides and the surrounding district. Relax and enjoy these amazing views.

The kitchen is well-equiped, including washing machine, ceramic cooker, fridge freezer and microwave.

It also has two bedrooms, a double and a twin, and the beds are made up including linen and fitted with electric blankets. The shower room is close to the bedrooms.
